Choose the correct account role
Your GuideMeet account role depends on how you plan to use the platform. Select Traveler if you're looking for local guides to explore destinations and plan trips. Select Professional Guide if you want travelers to discover your profile and inquire about your guiding services. Choose carefully, as guide profiles may require additional verification.
Choose Traveler when your main purpose is to discover, compare and contact guides. Choose Professional Guide when you provide guiding services and want to create a public professional profile.
The guide role may require more profile information, verification and plan decisions. It must not be used merely to browse other guides. A traveler role does not create a guide profile.
If GuideMeet allows one account to use both modes, follow the approved role-switching or guide-enrollment flow rather than opening duplicate accounts. If roles cannot currently be combined, the interface must explain the restriction before signup.
If you selected the wrong role, do not enter false profile information. Contact Support or use the verified role-change control.
