Keep communication safe on GuideMeet
Use GuideMeet communication to clarify identity, availability, scope, price basis, meeting arrangements and trip responsibilities without exposing unnecessary personal information.
Never send:
- Passwords or one-time codes
- Full payment-card details
- Passport or identity-document images through messages
- Unnecessary medical, financial or traveler data
- Money in response to pressure or unusual payment instructions
Warning signs include urgent pressure to leave the platform, requests to “verify” your account by sharing a code, payment to an unrelated person, inconsistent identity information or threats for refusing.
Stop engaging when you feel unsafe. Preserve relevant platform evidence, block the user where appropriate and use the contextual report action. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first; GuideMeet is not an emergency-response service.
