Send a traveler referral to another guide

A referral lets one eligible guide introduce a traveler to another guide when the original guide cannot or should not provide the requested service.

Before you start

  • Identify a potentially suitable guide without promising acceptance.
  • Explain the proposed referral to the traveler.
  • Obtain consent through the approved GuideMeet workflow before any personal details are shared.
  1. Open the relevant traveler request or referral action.
  2. Choose an eligible guide.
  3. Send the consent request to the traveler.
  4. Continue only after the system records valid consent.
  5. Share only the approved minimum information.

Never copy private traveler messages into a separate conversation without permission.
