Understand guide visibility and search placement

Visibility means whether a profile is eligible to appear publicly and in relevant discovery experiences. Search placement is determined by the current GuideMeet discovery system and user query; it is not a permanent rank.

  • Profile approval and account status
  • Relevance to destination, category, language and filters
  • Completeness and accuracy
  • Plan-related visibility benefits defined in current configuration
  • Content quality, availability or other documented signals

GuideMeet should not reveal abuse-prevention signals or promise a position. Paying for a plan does not guarantee the top result, inquiries, bookings or income. Higher visibility among similarly relevant guides must still preserve relevance and policy eligibility.

Keep information accurate, use meaningful media and Services, respond professionally and publish useful Insights where eligible. Do not keyword-stuff categories, destinations or specialties.
