Understand guide profile completion and approval

Profile completion measures whether required information has been added. Approval determines whether submitted information passes the current review rules. Verification is a separate process unless GuideMeet explicitly combines a step. Possible user-visible stages may include incomplete, saved, submitted, under review, changes requested, approved and public.

If changes are requested, read the reviewer’s message, correct the specific information and resubmit. Do not create a new profile to bypass review. Material edits to an approved profile may require another review.

Completion, approval and verification do not guarantee ranking, inquiries or traveler decisions. A profile can also be limited or unpublished if information becomes inaccurate, unsafe or non-compliant.
