Understand GuideMeet trust badges
Each trust badge must have one official definition, eligibility rule and owner.
Potential badges include:
- Verified Guide: specified verification checks were completed and remain current.
- Featured Guide: the guide participates in a defined editorial or visibility program.
- Destination Expert: documented eligibility for a destination-expertise designation.
Badges do not guarantee safety, performance, availability, booking outcomes or traveler satisfaction. An “Elite” plan label is a subscription tier, not automatically a trust badge. “Anchor Guide” must not be shown as a public badge unless separately approved under a defined policy.
