A Guide Service describes a defined experience or professional offering. Trip support describes logistics or coordination a guide says they can assist with. They are related, but they are not the same.
Read the Service as a scope
Check:
- Outcome and destination
- Duration and group size
- Price basis and currency
- Inclusions and exclusions
- Traveler requirements
- Cancellation or change conditions
- Whether another supplier delivers part of the experience
Understand trip support
Trip support may include permit coordination, transport, accommodation, porters, assistant guides or other locally relevant logistics. “Coordination” does not mean the guide issues a government permit or guarantees a third party’s availability.
Ask who contracts with and pays each supplier, whether quoted amounts are estimates, and what happens if a component changes. Country-specific systems—such as permit or registration schemes—must be explained using current official information.
Confirm before relying
A public listing cannot anticipate every group, season or operational change. Use the request conversation to confirm scope. Keep important agreements in a form both parties can review.
GuideMeet should display requests as requests, not confirmed bookings, unless a later product creates that exact status.
