Amber Ghimire

Namaste! I am Amber Ghimire, an adventure, nature, and trekking guide from Nepal with five years of experience in the tourism and outdoor adventure sector. Since beginning my guiding career in 2021, I have gained experience across a variety of trekking routes, mountain trails, hiking destinations, and natural landscapes. My experience includes Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), Mardi Himal Base Camp (MBC), Gosaikunda, Kathmandu Valley, Shivapuri hikes, and Chandragiri hikes. I am also currently gaining experience in the Dhorpatan area, expanding my knowledge of Nepal's diverse mountain and nature destinations. I enjoy guiding travelers who want to experience Nepal's natural beauty through trekking, hiking, and outdoor adventures. I believe that every journey offers something different, whether it is a multi-day Himalayan trek, a scenic mountain hike, a peaceful nature walk, or an opportunity to explore landscapes close to Nepal's cultural centers. My experience with Annapurna Base Camp and Mardi Himal Base Camp has given me exposure to Himalayan trekking and mountain environments, while routes such as Gosaikunda offer a combination of natural scenery, mountain landscapes, and cultural significance. I also enjoy shorter outdoor experiences such as Shivapuri and Chandragiri hikes. These journeys provide travelers with opportunities to explore nature, enjoy scenic views, and experience Nepal's landscapes without undertaking a long multi-day trek. For me, guiding is about more than simply leading travelers along a trail. I enjoy helping people appreciate the scenery, natural environment, local communities, and different experiences they encounter during their journey. I aim to make each trip comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable. With five years of experience, I understand that travelers have different interests and levels of trekking experience. Some may want a challenging mountain adventure, while others may prefer a shorter hike or nature-focused experience. I aim to provide flexible and personalized guidance according to the type of journey travelers are looking for. I am continuing to explore and develop my experience across Nepal, including my current experience in Dhorpatan. My goal is to keep expanding my knowledge of Nepal's trekking and outdoor destinations while helping travelers discover the country's natural beauty from a local perspective. I look forward to sharing Nepal through authentic trekking experiences, scenic hikes, mountain adventures, local knowledge, and genuine hospitality.
