I am a professional trekking and mountaineering guide from Jumla in Nepal's Karnali Province, with over 10 years of experience in the Himalayan region. My guiding journey has taken me through remote mountain landscapes, high-altitude trekking routes, and expedition destinations across Nepal. I have a strong connection to western Nepal, where the mountains, local communities, and traditional ways of life offer experiences that are different from the country's more frequently visited trekking regions. Throughout my career, I have gained mountain expedition experience in several Himalayan destinations, including Yala Peak in Langtang, Ghyajikang in Manang, Sisne Peak in Rukum, and Kanjiroba Himal in Dolpa. I have also participated in expeditions involving Kande Hiuchuli, Patarasi Himal, and Bijora Himal in the Jumla region. These experiences have helped me develop a practical understanding of mountain environments, remote trekking routes, and the importance of preparation when traveling at high altitude. Beyond mountain expeditions, I have guided visitors to beautiful natural destinations such as Rara Lake and Shey Phoksundo Lake. Coming from Jumla, I have a personal interest in the history, traditions, and cultural identity of the Khas people of western Nepal. I enjoy introducing travelers to local lifestyles, traditional settlements, cultural heritage, and the stories that connect communities to their surrounding landscapes. When guiding, I focus on safety, careful preparation, clear communication, and understanding the needs of each traveler. I believe a meaningful Himalayan journey involves more than reaching a mountain summit or completing a trekking route. My goal is to help visitors appreciate the mountains, discover the cultural richness of western Nepal, and return home with lasting memories of their journey.
