My name is Anil Sainju, and I am a professional tour guide from Kavre, Nepal. I have been working in tourism since 2008, giving me many years of experience introducing travelers to Nepal’s culture, heritage, history, traditions, and everyday way of life. Over the years, guiding has allowed me to meet people from different countries and help them understand Nepal beyond simply visiting its famous attractions.
My guiding experience includes Kathmandu and Pokhara, two of Nepal’s most important cultural and tourism destinations. In Kathmandu, I enjoy helping travelers discover historic neighborhoods, temples, traditional architecture, religious sites, local communities, and the stories connected with the Kathmandu Valley. In Pokhara, I can help visitors experience the city’s natural beauty, cultural attractions, local lifestyle, and surrounding sightseeing areas.
I believe a good tour should be informative but also relaxed and enjoyable. Every traveler has different interests, so I try to understand what my guests want to experience and adjust the journey accordingly. Some travelers are interested in history and architecture, while others want to learn about religion, local traditions, food, daily life, or simply explore Nepal at a comfortable pace.
For me, guiding is about helping visitors connect with the places and people they encounter. I enjoy sharing local knowledge, explaining cultural traditions, answering questions, and helping travelers feel comfortable throughout their journey. My goal is to provide a friendly, organized, and meaningful experience that helps guests leave Nepal with a deeper understanding of the country.
