Hi, I’m Ashish Bidari, a travel guide and assistant based in Kathmandu, Nepal. I have been working in the tourism sector since 2019, bringing more than seven years of hands-on experience in planning and leading tours, trekking journeys, and travel experiences across Nepal. My journey into travel and tourism led me to pursue a Master’s Degree in Tourism, helping me understand both the operational side of travel and the deeper cultural value of our heritage. Since I started guiding in 2019, I have worked with travelers exploring Kathmandu's historic monuments, as well as those heading out onto multi-day trekking trails in the Himalayan regions. Beyond traditional trekking and cultural tours, I am also a certified Yoga Retreat Master and Sound Healing Practitioner. I often weave wellness elements like yoga, meditation, and Tibetan singing bowl healing into journeys for travelers looking to balance physical adventure with inner calm. My work focuses on cultural interpretation, UNESCO heritage tours, wellness retreat coordination, and creating well-paced itineraries tailored to individual travelers. For me, guiding is about creating authentic experiences that blend adventure, local heritage, and responsible tourism.
