Avinash Giri

My name is Avinash Giri, and I am a city, cultural, nature and trekking guide from Nepal with 2 years of guiding experience. I am currently based in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, and I enjoy helping travelers discover Nepal through its historic cities, cultural heritage, natural landscapes and mountain environments. My experience includes guiding visitors around Kathmandu Valley, Bhaktapur, Pokhara and different mountain areas of Nepal. I especially enjoy introducing travelers to Nepalese culture, local traditions, historic places and everyday life. During city and cultural tours, I try to help guests understand the stories, customs and communities connected with the places they visit rather than simply moving from one attraction to another. I also enjoy nature-based trips where travelers can experience Nepal's hills, landscapes and peaceful surroundings. Along with city and cultural guiding, I am a licensed trekking guide and enjoy accompanying travelers into Nepal's mountain regions. I understand that every traveler has a different level of experience, interests and pace, so I try to provide clear communication, practical support and a comfortable guiding experience throughout the journey. For me, guiding is an opportunity to connect travelers with Nepal in a more personal way. Whether I am guiding a cultural walk, a nature experience or a mountain journey, my goal is to help guests feel comfortable, learn about the places they visit and return home with meaningful memories of Nepal.
