Bikalpa Pokharel

I am a licensed trekking guide from Gorkha with 6 years of experience guiding and supporting travelers in different mountain regions of Nepal. My trekking experience includes the Annapurna, Manaslu, Everest, Makalu and Dhorpatan areas, as well as routes in far-western Nepal and lesser-traveled parts of the country. I enjoy working on both well-known Himalayan treks and quieter offbeat trails. Every route has its own landscape, local communities and challenges, so I try to understand the needs and walking ability of each traveler before and during the journey. I believe a good trekking experience should feel comfortable, organized and connected to the places we travel through. Being from Gorkha has given me a close connection with mountain life and trekking culture. I especially enjoy multi-day journeys where travelers can experience changing landscapes, mountain villages and local ways of life. I am also interested in routes that take travelers beyond the busiest trekking corridors and introduce them to less-visited areas. My approach is friendly, patient and practical. I communicate in English and German and enjoy working with travelers from different backgrounds. Whether I am guiding in a popular trekking region or on a remote trail, my goal is to help travelers enjoy Nepal's mountains with confidence while creating a positive and memorable journey.
