About Bikram

My name is Bikram Karki, and I am a Kathmandu-based mountain, trekking and city tour guide with over 16 years of professional experience. I grew up in Nepal and have built my career around mountain journeys, technical climbing and cultural travel. I speak Nepali, English and Hindi. I completed my IFMGA mountain guide certification in April 2026. My climbing experience includes Everest, Manaslu, Ama Dablam, Mera Peak, Island Peak, Lobuche Peak, Chulu East, Chulu West and Pisang Peak. My mountaineering record also includes Mount Elbrus and winter climbing on Ghyun Himal. These journeys have shaped my approach to preparation, guiding and working in demanding mountain environments. For trekking, my routes include Everest Base Camp and the Three Passes trek, Langtang Valley, Annapurna Base Camp, Poon Hill and Khopra Ridge. I also provide city and cultural guiding for travelers who want to explore Nepal beyond its mountain trails. My professional training includes mountain rescue, wilderness medical care, navigation, rope access, rock climbing and ice climbing. I have also taught mountain rescue, introductory rock climbing and navigation courses. Clear communication, preparation and adapting plans to conditions are central to my guiding approach. If you are considering a trek, a climbing objective or a cultural visit, contact me with your destination, travel dates and previous experience. We can discuss the journey and the guiding support you need.
