About Bishnu
I am a licensed trekking guide from Naukunda, Rasuwa, with 16 years of experience working in Nepal’s trekking industry. I started guiding in 2010 and over the years I have led and supported trekkers on routes across many parts of the Nepal Himalayas. Trekking has allowed me to work with travelers from different countries while sharing the landscapes, mountain communities, culture, and everyday life of Nepal.
My guiding experience includes Langtang Valley, Gosaikunda, Annapurna Base Camp, Mardi Himal, Ghorepani and Poon Hill, Everest Base Camp, Manaslu Circuit, Mustang, and other trekking destinations. Being from Rasuwa, I have a particularly close connection with the Langtang region and understand the mountain environment, villages, trails, and local way of life of this part of Nepal.
I focus on helping trekkers travel at a comfortable and responsible pace. During a trek, I pay attention to the condition of the group, changing weather, trail conditions, altitude, accommodation arrangements, and the practical details that can make a long mountain journey safer and more enjoyable. I also enjoy introducing travelers to local communities and helping them better understand the places they pass through rather than simply walking from one destination to another.
I completed Trekking Guide training through the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management and hold a trekking guide license. My years in the mountains have given me practical experience working with both first-time trekkers and experienced travelers. I can communicate in Nepali, English, Hebrew, Hindi, and basic German, which helps me work with visitors from different backgrounds.
For me, good guiding means being dependable, patient, approachable, and attentive throughout the journey. Whether I am guiding someone through my home region of Langtang or accompanying them to Annapurna, Everest, Manaslu, or Mustang, my aim is to help them experience Nepal’s mountains in a safe, comfortable, and meaningful way.
