About Bishnu
Namaste! I am Bishnu, a certified and passionate jungle guide dedicated to sharing the incredible wildlife and natural beauty of Chitwan National Park.
With years of experience exploring Chitwan’s forests, grasslands, rivers, and wetlands, I guide travelers through one of Nepal’s most important wildlife areas. I enjoy helping guests understand the jungle rather than simply looking for animals. Tracking footprints, listening to alarm calls, identifying animal signs, and understanding wildlife behavior are all important parts of the experience.
Chitwan is home to remarkable wildlife, including the endangered Greater One-horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger, Asian elephant, sloth bear, deer, crocodiles, monkeys, and many other species. While wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed, I use my local knowledge and jungle experience to help guests explore safely and improve their chances of meaningful wildlife encounters.
Birdwatching is another important part of my guiding work. Chitwan supports an extraordinary variety of resident and migratory birds, and I enjoy identifying species through their appearance, behavior, and calls. Whether you are an experienced birdwatcher or simply curious about Nepal’s birdlife, I am happy to share what I know.
I can guide travelers on jungle walks, wildlife safaris, birdwatching experiences, and canoe trips around the Chitwan area. Safety, respect for wildlife, and responsible tourism are always priorities during my trips.
My goal is to provide every guest with a safe, informative, authentic, and memorable experience while helping them develop a deeper appreciation for Chitwan’s wildlife, forests, and local communities.
I look forward to welcoming you and exploring the wild heart of Nepal together.
