Bishwo Maharjan

I am Bishwo Maharjan, a trekking guide based in Kathmandu, Nepal, with 8 years of experience in the trekking industry. My main area of experience is the Annapurna Base Camp trek, one of Nepal's most beautiful Himalayan journeys. I enjoy helping travelers explore the mountains while introducing them to the natural beauty and local culture of the Annapurna region. Over the years, I have developed a good understanding of the Annapurna Base Camp trekking route and the challenges that travelers may face along the way. I believe that a successful trek requires proper preparation, a comfortable walking pace, and attention to changing mountain conditions. I always aim to help travelers feel informed, supported, and comfortable throughout their journey. One of the things I enjoy most about trekking is meeting people from different countries and sharing the mountain experience with them. The Annapurna region offers beautiful forests, traditional villages, mountain landscapes, and views of the Himalayas. I enjoy sharing information about the places we visit and helping travelers appreciate the natural surroundings and local way of life. My goal as a guide is to provide a safe, enjoyable, and meaningful trekking experience for every traveler. I believe that patience, good communication, and understanding each person's abilities are important parts of guiding. Whether someone is visiting the Himalayas for the first time or returning for another adventure, I look forward to helping them experience the beauty of Annapurna Base Camp.
