Chhokel Sherpa

Namaste! I am Chhokel Sherpa, an experienced trekking guide from Nepal with 17 years of professional experience in the tourism and trekking sector. Since beginning my guiding career in 2009, I have developed extensive experience exploring and guiding travelers across Nepal's diverse mountain landscapes. My guiding experience covers destinations throughout Nepal, giving me exposure to a wide variety of trekking environments, mountain trails, natural landscapes, villages, and local communities. This broad experience allows me to support travelers interested in exploring different parts of Nepal and discovering experiences beyond a single trekking region. I believe that trekking is about much more than reaching a particular destination. The journey itself is an important part of the experience. Walking through changing landscapes, discovering mountain villages, meeting local people, and experiencing Nepal's natural and cultural diversity can make a journey truly memorable. Over 17 years in the guiding profession, I have developed practical knowledge of trekking routes and mountain environments throughout Nepal. I enjoy helping travelers understand the places they visit and appreciate the landscapes, communities, and local experiences encountered along the trail. As a trekking guide, I aim to provide friendly, professional, and personalized support throughout each journey. Travelers come with different interests, expectations, and levels of trekking experience, and I believe good guiding should adapt to the needs of each individual or group. I enjoy meeting travelers from different countries and sharing my knowledge of Nepal with them. Whether travelers are interested in mountain adventures, scenic trekking routes, local communities, or discovering different parts of Nepal, I aim to help create a comfortable, enjoyable, and authentic experience. My goal is to help travelers discover the diversity of Nepal through professional trekking guidance, local knowledge, authentic mountain experiences, and genuine Himalayan hospitality.
