Namaste! I am Dawa Bomjan, an experienced trekking guide from Nepal with 18 years of professional experience exploring and guiding travelers through the country's Himalayan trails. Since beginning my guiding career in 2008, I have developed extensive practical experience in mountain trekking and a strong appreciation for Nepal's natural landscapes, local communities, and mountain culture.
My trekking experience includes Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, and the Langtang region. These destinations provide very different Himalayan experiences, from iconic high-altitude landscapes and dramatic mountain scenery to peaceful valleys, traditional villages, and culturally rich communities.
I enjoy helping travelers experience the mountains beyond simply reaching a destination. For me, the journey itself is an important part of trekking. Walking through changing landscapes, passing through mountain villages, meeting local people, and experiencing the natural environment along the trail all contribute to a memorable Himalayan adventure.
My experience at Everest Base Camp has given me valuable exposure to high-altitude trekking and the unique environment of the Himalayan mountains. Annapurna Base Camp offers another distinctive experience, combining spectacular mountain scenery with diverse landscapes and communities. The Langtang region provides opportunities to explore beautiful valleys, mountain trails, forests, and local settlements.
As an experienced trekking guide, I aim to provide practical route guidance, local knowledge, trekking support, and assistance throughout the journey. With 18 years of experience, I understand that travelers have different interests, expectations, and levels of trekking experience.
