Dawa Lama

Hello, my name is Dawa Lama. I am based in Kathmandu, Nepal, and I work as a professional trekking guide with over twelve years of experience in the country's adventure tourism industry, guiding since 2014. Over the years, I have worked extensively across major trekking destinations like the Everest, Annapurna, and Manaslu regions, as well as various remote and lesser-known trails throughout Nepal. My work covers multi-day trekking, peak climbing, glacier travel, base camp logistics, and altitude acclimatization support. I enjoy meeting travelers from different nationalities and backgrounds, and my background in the mountains has taught me how important quick decision-making, clear communication, and a calm approach are when dealing with challenging situations on the trail. My focus is always on ensuring that every journey is safe, well-organized, and respectful of local communities. If you are planning a trip to the Himalayas and would like an experienced companion to help you navigate the trails, feel free to reach out so we can discuss what kind of trek fits your goals.
