Namaste! I am Dipak Thapa Magar, an experienced nature and trekking guide from Nepal with 13 years of professional experience in the tourism and trekking sector. Since beginning my guiding career in 2013, I have developed a strong passion for Nepal's mountains, natural landscapes, trekking trails, and outdoor experiences.
My guiding experience includes the Manaslu Circuit, Annapurna region, Kathmandu, and destinations across Nepal. Working across different environments has given me practical knowledge of a variety of trekking routes and an appreciation for the diverse landscapes, communities, and experiences that travelers can discover throughout the country.
I particularly enjoy guiding travelers who want to experience Nepal's natural beauty through trekking and outdoor exploration. For me, trekking is not simply about reaching a destination. The journey itself is an important part of the experience — walking through changing landscapes, enjoying mountain views, discovering villages, meeting local people, and experiencing the natural environment along the trail.
The Manaslu Circuit provides an excellent combination of dramatic mountain scenery, diverse landscapes, traditional villages, and high-altitude trekking. The Annapurna region offers a wide variety of mountain experiences, while exploring areas around Kathmandu provides opportunities to discover Nepal's natural and cultural character closer to its urban center.
