Ganesh Aryal

I am Ganesh Aryal, an experienced tour and nature guide from Chitwan, Nepal, with around 30 years of experience in Nepal’s tourism and guiding sector. I began my professional guiding journey in 1996 and have spent many years helping visitors explore Nepal’s wildlife, natural landscapes, birdlife and important cultural destinations. My connection with nature guiding started in Chitwan, one of Nepal’s best-known wildlife destinations. In 1996, I completed Nature Guide training conducted by the Nepal Conservation Research and Training Center of the King Mahendra Trust for Nature Conservation in cooperation with Royal Chitwan National Park. This training provided an important foundation for my work in wildlife and nature tourism. Over the years, I have worked in and around Chitwan National Park, Bardia National Park and Langtang National Park. My experience includes guiding visitors interested in wildlife, natural environments and local destinations. Birdwatching is also an important part of my guiding experience, and I have explored birding locations across different parts of Nepal. Beyond national parks and wildlife areas, I have experience guiding visitors in destinations such as Kathmandu, Pokhara, Lumbini and Koshi Tappu. This has allowed me to work with travelers who have different interests, from nature and birdwatching to sightseeing and cultural exploration. With three decades of field experience, I focus on helping travelers understand the places they visit rather than simply showing them around. I enjoy sharing my practical knowledge of Nepal’s wildlife areas, birdlife, landscapes, local communities and destinations while providing a friendly and informative travel experience.
