Govinda Kumar Bista

Chitwan has been the center of my working life for more than three decades. I am Govinda Kumar Bista, a licensed nature guide from Ratnanagar, with 31 years of guiding experience. Time in the field has taught me that wildlife experiences require patience. Animals move freely, weather and seasons influence the surroundings, and no two visits to Chitwan are exactly the same. I never believe that a particular wildlife sighting should be promised. For me, good guiding begins with helping visitors understand the environment around them. It also involves explaining park rules, maintaining a respectful distance from wildlife, and knowing when quiet observation matters. My long experience helps me work with travelers who have different interests and levels of familiarity with nature. I want guests to feel comfortable asking questions and learning during their visit. I am best suited to travelers seeking experienced local guidance in Chitwan. My aim is to make each visit informative, responsible, and grounded in respect for the park and its wildlife.
