About Grishma
I am a licensed tour guide from Nepal with more than three years of experience working with international travelers. I mainly work as a freelance guide, introducing my guests to Nepal's culture, history, heritage, traditions, religious sites, local communities, and everyday way of life. I enjoy meeting people from different countries and helping them understand Nepal beyond simply visiting famous attractions.
A large part of my guiding experience is in Kathmandu Valley, where I guide visitors around Kathmandu, Patan, Bhaktapur, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Changunarayan, Kirtipur, Pharping, Chandragiri, Nagarkot, Panauti, and Namobuddha. During my tours, I enjoy sharing the stories behind temples, monuments, traditional settlements, local customs, festivals, architecture, and religious practices. I try to make every tour informative while also giving my guests enough time to observe, ask questions, interact with local people, and enjoy the places at a comfortable pace.
My guiding experience is not limited to Kathmandu Valley. I also accompany travelers to destinations such as Pokhara, Chitwan, Mustang, Bandipur, Bardiya, Palpa, and Ghandruk. This allows me to help travelers experience different sides of Nepal, from historic towns and traditional villages to wildlife areas, mountain landscapes, and local communities. I can assist guests who want a short city experience as well as those planning longer journeys between different destinations in Nepal.
I also have experience supporting private and luxury travel experiences, including helicopter tours toward Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp. I understand that different travelers have different expectations, so I try to adapt my guiding style according to their interests, schedule, comfort, and preferred pace. I also hold a first aid certificate, and I pay attention to guest comfort, communication, and safety throughout the journey.
For me, guiding is about more than showing people where to go. I enjoy sharing the Nepal that I know and see personally, through its people, culture, landscapes, traditions, and everyday life. My goal is to help every guest leave Nepal with meaningful experiences, good memories, and a deeper understanding of the country.
