Hello, I’m Karuna Acharya, a licensed trekking guide based in Pokhara, Nepal. I have been guiding since 2022 and have more than three years of experience in Nepal’s tourism industry. Much of my work is connected with trekking and hiking around the Annapurna region, where I enjoy supporting travelers through both shorter hikes and longer mountain journeys. My trekking experience includes Mardi Himal, North Annapurna Base Camp, Annapurna Circuit, Ghorepani Poon Hill, Khopra, Khuma Danda, and Mulde Viewpoint. I also specialize in day hiking, which allows me to work with travelers who want to experience the mountains without committing to a long trek. One of the things I value most in guiding is making sure travelers feel supported throughout the journey. I try to stay attentive to how people are feeling, especially on longer or higher-altitude routes, and I bring a positive and encouraging attitude to the trail. I can also help with route planning, trek permit guidance, and airport pickup coordination when needed.
