Krishna Prasad Khanal

I am Krishna Prasad Khanal, a wildlife and safari guide from Bardiya, Nepal, with 18 years of guiding experience. I have been involved in nature guiding since receiving professional Nature Guide Training in 2008, and most of my guiding experience has been connected with Bardiya National Park and the surrounding wildlife areas. Over the years, I have developed strong practical knowledge of Bardiya National Park, its forests, wildlife habitats and animal behavior. I have a particular interest in tigers and have gained extensive experience helping visitors understand how to observe wildlife responsibly in its natural environment. My work also includes full-day walking safaris and other wildlife-focused experiences. For me, wildlife guiding is about much more than simply finding animals. It is about reading the forest, understanding tracks and signs, observing animal behavior and helping guests appreciate the entire ecosystem around them. I enjoy sharing what I have learned through years of field experience and helping travelers understand the relationship between wildlife, forests and local communities. I also believe that safety, patience and respect for nature are essential during every safari. Wildlife cannot be controlled, so every experience is different. I try to help guests enjoy the journey itself, whether we encounter a tiger, deer, birds or simply spend time quietly observing the forest. I speak Nepali, English and Hindi, as well as basic Spanish, which helps me communicate with travelers from different backgrounds. My goal is to provide safe, informative and memorable wildlife experiences while helping visitors develop a deeper appreciation for Bardiya and its natural heritage.
