Krishna Prasad Simkhada

I am Krishna Prasad Simkhada, a professional trekking guide originally from Dhading, Nepal, and currently based in Kathmandu. I have 12 years of experience in trekking and tourism, with a strong focus on the Annapurna region. Over the years, I have developed a deep interest in Nepal's Himalayan landscapes, mountain trails, and the local communities that make trekking in this region special. The Annapurna region is my main area of expertise, offering a wonderful combination of mountain scenery, traditional villages, forests, and diverse landscapes. I enjoy introducing travelers to the natural beauty of this region while helping them understand the local culture and mountain lifestyle. For me, trekking is not only about reaching a destination but also about appreciating the journey and the people we meet along the way. I completed my professional Trekking Guide training at the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM) in 2018, achieving Grade A. My training and years of practical experience have helped me develop a professional approach to trekking and working with different travelers. I believe that good communication, careful preparation, and understanding each traveler's needs are important parts of a successful trekking experience. I speak English and enjoy communicating with visitors from different countries and backgrounds. My goal is to help travelers enjoy the Himalayan environment while maintaining a comfortable pace and respecting local communities. I look forward to sharing my knowledge of the Annapurna region and helping visitors create meaningful memories of their time in Nepal.
