lian Saragih

Hi, I’m Lian Saragih, a licensed travel guide based in Medan, North Sumatra. I have been guiding travelers since 2005, giving me over two decades of experience exploring the landscapes, cities, and heritage of my home region. Over the years, my work has taken me across North Sumatra to help visitors discover everything from bustling city streets to remote corners of nature. I enjoy showing travelers the rich history and everyday life of Medan, as well as leading journeys into the surrounding countryside. I specialize in rainforest and jungle trekking, volcano hiking, city walking tours, old town heritage explorations, and elephant experiences. Having spent many years guiding these routes, I know how to navigate the local terrain and pace a trip so that travelers can explore safely and comfortably. Whether you are looking to walk through historic quarters or head deep into the Sumatran jungle, I am happy to help you experience North Sumatra in a way that suits your interests. If you are planning a trip here, feel free to reach out and we can plan your journey together.
