I am Mohan Singh Thapa, a professional trekking guide based in Kathmandu, Nepal, with 10 years of experience guiding travelers through Nepal’s Himalayan trekking routes. I have trekking experience in destinations including the Langtang region and Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). Over the years, I have helped trekkers explore mountain trails while providing route guidance, local knowledge, and practical support throughout their journeys. My experience has helped me understand the different challenges travelers may face during a Himalayan trek, including changing trail conditions, long walking days, weather, accommodation arrangements, and adjusting to higher elevations. I focus on maintaining a comfortable trekking pace and helping travelers understand the places and landscapes they encounter along the way. I enjoy meeting travelers from different backgrounds and introducing them to Nepal’s mountains, villages, local communities, and trekking culture. I can communicate in Nepali, Hindi, and English, which allows me to work with both domestic and international travelers. Whether travelers are planning to explore the beautiful valleys of Langtang or trek through the Annapurna region toward Annapurna Base Camp, I aim to provide reliable guidance and a welcoming trekking experience in Nepal.
