Netra Shrestha

I am Netra Bahadur Shrestha, a licensed tour guide and trekking guide from Nepal, based in Kathmandu. I have been professionally involved in tourism and guiding for more than 3 years and hold a Master’s Degree in Business Studies with a specialization in Finance. I guide travelers across Kathmandu Valley, Pokhara, Lumbini, Chitwan, and other destinations in Nepal. I especially enjoy introducing visitors to Nepal’s cultural heritage, ancient temples, historical landmarks, religious sites, natural beauty, local traditions, and everyday way of life. My approach to guiding is flexible and personal. I can organize sightseeing experiences based on a guest’s interests, available time, and travel preferences. I enjoy explaining Nepal’s history, culture, traditions, architecture, religion, and local lifestyle in a clear and approachable way. I speak English and have basic Chinese communication skills, which helps me work with travelers from different backgrounds. My aim is to make every journey comfortable, informative, safe, and memorable while offering friendly and professional support throughout the trip. For me, guiding is more than showing famous places. I want travelers to understand the stories, people, culture, and meaning behind the places they visit so that their experience of Nepal stays with them long after the journey is over.
