About Chef
Hi, I’m Chef Nutth, a licensed tourist guide, former chef, and local experience host from Thailand. My goal is to help travelers experience Thailand through its people, food, stories, culture, and everyday life rather than simply visiting famous attractions.
My connection with Thai food began when I was young. My father often took me into Bangkok’s older neighborhoods, where we ate at family-run restaurants that had been preparing the same recipes for generations. Those experiences taught me that food is more than something we eat. A single dish can carry the history of a family, a neighborhood, and a community.
After high school, I spent seven years living in the United States and worked in many roles in Thai restaurants, from dishwasher and kitchen assistant to cook. That experience gave me practical knowledge of Thai ingredients, cooking techniques, flavors, and the traditions behind the food.
When I returned to Thailand, I became a licensed tourist guide. Since 2017, I have combined my culinary background with guiding and storytelling, introducing travelers to Bangkok’s street food, historic neighborhoods, traditional markets, family-owned restaurants, and local communities.
For me, a meaningful travel experience is about meeting the right people and understanding the stories behind the places you visit. I enjoy helping guests meet local vendors, discover traditional food, understand Thai customs, explore neighborhoods beyond the usual tourist routes, and see how local people actually live.
I also help travelers feel more confident moving around Thailand. Depending on the experience, I can introduce guests to local transportation such as boats, tuk-tuks, BTS Skytrain, buses, and private transport, while sharing useful Thai phrases, cultural etiquette, practical travel advice, and local knowledge.
My own specialty is Bangkok, especially food, culture, local neighborhoods, and everyday city life. At the same time, I believe Thailand has much more to discover, from historic cities and famous destinations to regional traditions, local communities, nature, crafts, wellness, and lesser-known places.
I prefer private and small-group experiences because they allow more conversation, flexibility, and genuine connection. Whether you are visiting Thailand for the first time, returning to explore more deeply, traveling with family or friends, or stopping in Bangkok for only a short time, I want to help make your journey personal, comfortable, safe, and memorable.
I do not want my guests to leave saying only, “I visited Thailand.” I want them to feel, “I experienced Thailand.”
