With over 15 years of experience guiding travelers through Nepal, I bring a mix of academic depth and hands-on storytelling to every tour. Holding a Master's degree in a related field, I approach heritage interpretation not as a script to repeat, but as a living conversation between past and present, helping you understand not just what you're seeing at Kathmandu's ancient heritage, but why it still matters to the people who live among it today.
While my heart and expertise center on the Kathmandu Valley, its World Heritage Sites, hidden courtyards, and living traditions, I guide journeys further afield across Nepal, from the hills to the Himalayas, for travelers who want to go deeper into the country's culture and landscapes.
My guiding style is personal and unhurried. Rather than rushing between checklist sights, I tailor each journey to your curiosity, weaving in local traditions, oral histories, and cultural nuance that guidebooks tend to miss. Being fully independent means my itineraries stay flexible and genuinely customized, with the kind of attentive, one-on-one service that larger group tours simply can't offer.
What matters most to me, though, is a deeper sense of purpose: I'm committed to responsible tourism, and I channel a portion of every tour's proceeds toward community and grassroots causes in Nepal. For me, guiding isn't just about sharing heritage, it's about giving back to the culture and communities that make that heritage worth sharing in the first place.
I'm certified by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, and have been recognized with industry awards for my work, including being named one of the 'Top 100 Guides in the World' in the Global Guide Awards in 2017 and 2018.
