Pema Dorje Sherpa

My name is Pema Dorje Sherpa, and I am a trekking guide based in Kathmandu, Nepal. I have 17 years of experience, and I offer trekking in the Annapurna region. I speak English and welcome travelers who would like to explore this region with an experienced mountain professional. My mountain background includes reaching the summit of Mount Everest on 21 May 2009. I climbed as a high-altitude worker with the NIM Everest Expedition 2009. This experience is an important part of my journey in Nepal’s trekking and mountaineering sector. I completed the Nepal Mountaineering Association’s Advanced Mountaineering Training in 2010–2011, held in Kathmandu and Manang. I also participated in the 28th Mountaineering Liaison Officer Training at the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management in August 2010. These training experiences form part of the background I bring to my work in the mountains. If you are considering a trek in the Annapurna region, you can contact me with your preferred route, travel dates and available time. Please also share your previous trekking experience and the kind of journey you have in mind. We can discuss the areas I cover, your itinerary and the guiding support you need before making arrangements.
