My name is Pemba Sherpa, and I am a licensed trekking guide from Solududhkunda, Solukhumbu, Nepal. I have 14 years of experience working in trekking and guiding, and over the years I have gained practical knowledge of Himalayan trails, mountain conditions, local communities, and the needs of travelers while they are on a trek. I have guided in different trekking areas of Nepal, including the Annapurna region, Mardi Himal, and the Pikey Peak area. Working on these routes has given me experience with different types of landscapes, from forest and village trails to higher mountain areas. I understand that every traveler has a different walking pace and level of trekking experience, so I try to guide each trip according to the needs and comfort of my guests. As a guide, I focus on helping travelers enjoy their journey in a safe, organized, and comfortable way. I assist guests with understanding the trail, maintaining a suitable walking pace, planning daily movement, and becoming familiar with the places and communities they visit. My years in trekking have also taught me the importance of patience, communication, and adjusting plans when trail or weather conditions require it. Coming from Solukhumbu, the mountains have always been an important part of my life. I enjoy introducing visitors to Nepal's Himalayan landscapes and sharing the local knowledge I have gained through many years of working on the trails. For me, guiding is not only about reaching a destination. It is also about helping travelers experience the mountains, villages, people, and natural environment along the way. I speak English and enjoy working with travelers from different countries. Whether someone is visiting Nepal for their first trek or returning to explore another Himalayan route, I aim to provide friendly guidance, dependable support, and a memorable trekking experience.
