About Prem
My name is Prem Bahadur Tamang, and I am a professional trekking, tour, and adventure guide from Nuwakot, Nepal. I have more than 20 years of experience in the Himalayan travel industry and have spent much of my career guiding and supporting international travelers.
During my career, I have guided and led approximately 1,500 international guests. I also spent around 15 years working with an international adventure travel company, which gave me extensive experience in trip leadership, guest care, logistics, group coordination, problem-solving, and managing journeys in different mountain environments.
My guiding experience covers many of Nepal’s major Himalayan regions, including Everest, Manaslu, Langtang, Annapurna, Makalu, and Mustang. I have also travelled and worked in Tibet. These experiences have given me a broad understanding of trekking routes, high-altitude environments, local communities, cultural differences, and the practical needs of travelers.
Since 2018, I have also been involved in organizing and managing trekking, tours, climbing trips, logistics, and guest services. This experience allows me to understand both the guiding side of a journey and the planning required behind the scenes.
I enjoy helping travelers experience the Himalayas safely, comfortably, and meaningfully. My goal is to combine professional organization, mountain experience, local knowledge, and personal attention to create memorable journeys for every guest.
