About Priya
Namaste! My name is Priya Adhikari, and I am a trekking guide with approximately two and a half years of experience exploring and guiding through a diverse range of Nepal’s Himalayan landscapes. Although I am still building my professional journey, my experience already covers several very different mountain environments, from famous base-camp routes to sacred lakes, high valleys, remote trails, and challenging viewpoints.
My trekking experience includes Annapurna Base Camp, Everest Base Camp, Gosaikunda, Panch Pokhari, the Manaslu Region, Manang Valley, and the Langtang Region. These journeys have allowed me to experience different trail conditions, elevations, communities, landscapes, and styles of trekking across Nepal.
In the Langtang area, I have also climbed Kyanjin Ri and Tserko Ri, experiences that have strengthened my confidence in higher mountain environments and given me a deeper appreciation for the physical and mental preparation required on demanding Himalayan trails.
What I enjoy most about trekking is the variety that every journey brings. Some routes pass through forests and traditional villages, while others lead toward alpine valleys, sacred lakes, base camps, and dramatic mountain viewpoints. I enjoy helping travelers experience each stage of the journey rather than focusing only on the final destination.
My time in the mountains has taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, teamwork, flexibility, and understanding the needs of different travelers. Every guest has a different pace, level of fitness, confidence, and reason for trekking. I try to create a supportive environment where travelers can challenge themselves while still enjoying the landscapes, communities, and experiences around them.
My guiding style is energetic, encouraging, practical, and traveler-focused. I enjoy learning from every journey and continuously expanding my knowledge of Nepal’s trekking regions and mountain environments.
For me, trekking is more than simply following a trail. It is about discovering new landscapes, connecting with local communities, developing confidence, and sharing meaningful experiences with people from different parts of the world.
My goal is to continue growing as a professional guide while helping travelers experience Nepal’s Himalayas in an enjoyable, supportive, and memorable way.
