Sandip Kshetri

I am a trekking guide from Bhanu, Tanahun, Nepal, with experience accompanying travelers through some of Nepal’s best-known Himalayan regions. I enjoy working closely with visitors and helping them experience the mountains in a comfortable, organized and enjoyable way. My guiding experience includes Manang, Upper Mustang and Langtang. Each of these regions has its own landscape, culture and trekking conditions, from the high mountain settlements of Manang to the dry Himalayan scenery of Upper Mustang and the forested valleys and mountain villages of Langtang. During a trek, I focus on the practical needs of my guests as well as the journey itself. I help travelers understand the route ahead, maintain a comfortable walking pace and manage the everyday details that are part of travelling through mountain areas. I also enjoy introducing visitors to the communities and places they encounter along the trail. Trekking in Nepal is not only about reaching a destination, so I like giving travelers time to experience local villages, mountain landscapes and the changing environment along the route. I aim to be a responsible and approachable guide who travelers can communicate with easily throughout their journey. Whether someone is visiting Nepal for their first Himalayan trek or returning to explore another region, I want to help make the experience safe, well supported and memorable.
