My name is Shankhar Shah, and I am a licensed trekking guide from Saptari, Nepal. I have 7 years of experience working in trekking and tourism. Over the years, guiding has given me the opportunity to work with travelers, understand their different needs, and develop the responsibility and patience required to support people during their journeys in Nepal. As a trekking guide, I focus on helping travelers feel comfortable and well supported throughout their trip. I understand that every traveler has a different walking pace, level of trekking experience, and expectation from their journey. I therefore try to guide in a patient and practical way, communicate clearly, and help guests adjust to the conditions of the trail. My years of experience have also taught me the importance of preparation, responsible guiding, and paying attention to the needs of guests while traveling. I believe a guide's responsibility is not only to show the route but also to help travelers understand their surroundings and make their trekking experience more organized and enjoyable. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and sharing the experience of traveling through Nepal with them. My goal as a guide is to provide friendly, dependable, and professional support so that travelers can enjoy their journey with greater confidence and take home good memories of Nepal.
