Hi, I’m Somwang Yennan (Dan), a professional tourist guide and local tour operator based in Thailand. I enjoy introducing travelers to Bangkok through experiences that go beyond the city’s major tourist attractions and give visitors a closer look at local neighborhoods, communities, food and everyday life. I specialize in bicycle and electric scooter tours, particularly around Bangkok’s historic areas, Chinatown, hidden canals and local communities. Traveling by bicycle or e-scooter allows me to take guests through smaller streets and less-visited areas where they can experience a different side of the city. Culture and local life are an important part of the experiences I provide. Depending on the tour, we may explore historic neighborhoods, visit community areas, discover local markets and street food, or learn more about how Bangkok has developed while still preserving elements of traditional Thai life. I also offer walking tours, bike touring, electric scooter touring, car-based tours and big bike touring. Outside Bangkok, I can support travel experiences in other parts of Thailand, including heritage-focused journeys such as the Kanchanaburi history experience. I hold Thai Tourist Guide License No. 1022235. I also operate Dan The Man Tours under a Department of Tourism inbound tour business license. My aim is to provide travelers with safe, enjoyable and personal experiences while helping them understand Thailand through its people, food, communities, history and local way of life.
