I am Subash Rai, a licensed trekking guide from Nepal with 8 years of experience in the trekking field. I am originally from Makalu-4, Sankhuwasabha, and I have spent years working with travelers in Nepal’s mountain regions. Trekking has given me the opportunity to explore different landscapes, meet people from around the world, and build practical experience on Himalayan trails. My guiding experience includes Mustang, Manang, and the Annapurna Base Camp route. These destinations offer very different trekking experiences, from the dry mountain landscapes and traditional settlements of Mustang to the high-altitude trails of Manang and the famous route leading toward Annapurna Base Camp. Working in these areas has helped me become familiar with multi-day trekking and the demands of traveling through mountain environments. As a guide, I enjoy accompanying travelers throughout their journey and helping them experience Nepal’s mountains in a comfortable and well-organized way. I understand that every traveler has a different walking pace, level of trekking experience, and expectation from a trip, so I try to provide patient and practical support throughout the trek. I especially enjoy sharing the natural beauty, mountain landscapes, villages, and local experiences found along Nepal’s trekking routes. With 8 years of guiding experience and an official trekking guide license, I look forward to helping travelers explore Mustang, Manang, Annapurna, and other Himalayan destinations while creating a positive and memorable trekking experience.
