About Sujan
My name is Sujan Pariyar, and I am a professional trekking guide from Kaski, Nepal. I love traveling, discovering new trails, meeting people from different parts of the world, and sharing the mountains, culture, and everyday life of Nepal with them.
My journey in trekking started as a porter, which gave me the opportunity to learn the mountains from the ground up. I later worked for one year as an assistant guide, gaining practical experience in route management, guest care, group support, and mountain safety. For the past four years, I have been working as a professional trekking guide.
My trekking experience includes the Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley, Annapurna Circuit, Annapurna Base Camp, Mardi Himal Base Camp, Khopra and Hidden Lake, Mulde Trek, Mohare Trek, Ghorepani, Panchase, North Annapurna Base Camp, Khumai Dada, and Kori Trek.
Through these journeys, I have developed practical knowledge of mountain environments, altitude awareness, first aid, local culture, trail conditions, and group management. I enjoy storytelling and helping travelers understand the places and communities they pass through, rather than simply focusing on reaching the final destination.
For me, guiding is about enjoying the whole journey together. My goal is to help every guest have a safe, enjoyable, personal, and memorable experience while discovering the beauty and spirit of the Himalayas.
