I am Surendra Maharjan, a licensed trekking guide from Kathmandu, Nepal, with two years of professional guiding experience. I enjoy introducing travelers to Nepal’s mountain landscapes and helping them experience trekking in a comfortable, organized, and enjoyable way. For me, guiding is not only about reaching a destination. It is also about supporting travelers throughout the journey, understanding their pace, and helping them enjoy the trail and the places they visit. My main guiding experience is in the Annapurna region, particularly around the Annapurna Base Camp trekking area. I am familiar with the mountain environment, trekking trails, villages, and day-to-day conditions travelers can experience while trekking in this region. I aim to guide according to the ability and comfort of each traveler while helping them understand the local surroundings and mountain environment along the way. As a trekking guide, I pay attention to communication, trail conditions, walking pace, and the general well-being of the people I guide. I understand that travelers may have different levels of trekking experience, so I try to provide clear guidance and practical support throughout the journey. I can communicate with international travelers in English. I am looking forward to gaining even more experience across Nepal’s trekking regions while continuing to improve my knowledge and guiding skills.
