About Sushil
Namaste! I am Sushil Nepal, a licensed professional tour guide and trip leader with more than 15 years of experience guiding international travelers throughout Nepal. Over the years, I have worked with individuals, families, private groups, and organized tours, helping guests experience Nepal through its history, culture, landscapes, wildlife, and local communities.
My main expertise lies in cultural, historical, and wildlife touring across some of Nepal’s most important destinations, including Kathmandu, Pokhara, Lumbini, and Chitwan. I enjoy helping travelers understand the deeper meaning behind the places they visit, from ancient temples, monasteries, palaces, and Durbar Squares to sacred Buddhist and Hindu sites, traditional communities, and Nepal’s diverse cultural heritage.
In addition to sightseeing and cultural touring, I have extensive experience leading multi-destination journeys and overland trips. I understand that a successful tour depends not only on good interpretation but also on strong organization. I therefore pay close attention to transportation, timing, accommodation coordination, daily schedules, guest comfort, and communication from arrival through departure.
My guiding experience also includes scenic day hikes and light trekking in the Annapurna, Langtang, and Everest regions. These journeys allow travelers to enjoy Nepal’s mountain landscapes and Himalayan atmosphere without necessarily committing to demanding high-altitude expeditions. I aim to match each experience with the interests, fitness level, and comfort of the traveler.
As a NATHM-certified guide, I take professionalism, safety, and responsible tourism seriously. My approach to guiding focuses on clear storytelling, practical organization, and creating an atmosphere where guests feel comfortable asking questions and engaging with the places they visit.
I speak English, Spanish, Hindi, and Nepali, which allows me to communicate with a wide range of international travelers while also coordinating effectively with local communities, hotels, drivers, activity providers, and other tourism professionals.
Whether I am explaining the architecture of a historic square, coordinating a multi-day overland itinerary, leading a cultural journey, or helping guests experience wildlife and nature, my goal remains the same: to make every trip smooth, informative, enjoyable, and memorable.
After more than 15 years in tourism, I continue to value the opportunity to introduce travelers to Nepal in a professional and personal way. I believe that thoughtful guiding, strong organization, and genuine local knowledge can turn a good trip into a meaningful travel experience.
