Tsering Gurung

I am Tsering Gurung, a trekking guide from Chumnubri Rural Municipality in Gorkha. I have more than 5 years of experience guiding trekkers in Nepal, with particular experience on the Manaslu Circuit and Annapurna Circuit. Growing up in the Himalayan region has given me a close connection to the mountains, local communities, culture, and daily life of the people who live along these trekking routes. I enjoy helping travelers experience Nepal in a safe, comfortable, and meaningful way. During a trek, I pay attention not only to the trail and daily walking plan, but also to the needs of each guest, changing weather, local conditions, accommodation, and the overall pace of the journey. I believe a good trekking experience should allow travelers to enjoy the mountains without feeling rushed. My experience in the Manaslu region has given me strong familiarity with its villages, landscapes, local traditions, and trekking conditions. I also have experience on the Annapurna Circuit, one of Nepal's major trekking routes. I enjoy sharing what I know about Himalayan life, local culture, Tibetan-influenced traditions, and the natural environment with the people I guide. I speak Nepali, Tibetan, and English, which helps me communicate with both local communities and international travelers. My aim is to make every trek organized, enjoyable, and memorable while helping guests feel comfortable and supported throughout their journey.
