Valmiki Rijal

I’m Valmiki, a tour guide based in Chitwan, Nepal, with 20 years of guiding experience. My main destinations are Kathmandu and Chitwan. I enjoy introducing travelers to these places and helping them make the most of their time in Nepal. My guiding work brings together two different sides of the country. Kathmandu offers opportunities to explore heritage, traditions, and everyday city life, while Chitwan introduces visitors to a different landscape and local setting. I enjoy helping guests understand the places they visit beyond what they can see at first glance. When planning a tour, I want to understand your interests and the time you have available. Some travelers prefer a fuller day of sightseeing, while others enjoy taking their time and asking questions along the way. Discussing these preferences helps us plan a visit that suits you. I guide in English and value clear, friendly communication. I aim to make guests comfortable asking questions and sharing their needs throughout the tour. For me, guiding means being approachable and providing useful context without overwhelming the experience. Whether you are considering a visit to Kathmandu or spending time in Chitwan, you are welcome to contact me with your plans. We can discuss your dates, interests, and the guiding support you need. I look forward to welcoming you to Nepal and sharing these destinations with you.
