Credentials build trust when the traveler can understand who issued them, what they cover and whether they are current.
For each certification
State:
- Exact credential name
- Issuing organization
- Activity or professional scope
- Issue and expiry dates where relevant
- Current, expired, pending or limited status
Do not translate a narrow certificate into a broader professional claim. Completion of a short course is not the same as a license or advanced qualification.
For experience
Describe roles, destinations, activities and time periods accurately. Separate personal climbing or travel achievements from experience guiding clients. Avoid adding overlapping years together in a way that inflates total experience.
Protect records
Submit evidence through secure verification, not public photos or messages. Do not expose document numbers or another person’s credentials.
When a credential expires or your role changes, update the profile. Accuracy is more persuasive than an impressive but ambiguous claim.
