Turn Field Knowledge Into a Useful Guide Insight

Turn Field Knowledge Into a Useful Guide Insight

A useful Guide Insight answers a real traveler question with firsthand professional knowledge. It is not a general social post, an advertisement or copied destination summary.

Choose one purpose

Use one approved type: Route Update, Destination Tip, Safety Note, Cultural Insight, Seasonal Advice, Trek Preparation, Local Travel Tip or Field Observation.

Give the reader context

Explain where, when and under what conditions the information applies. Separate what you personally observed from what another person or source reported. Use dates for route, weather, access and safety information.

Add professional value

Tell the reader what the observation means for planning. A seasonal note might explain who should reconsider timing. A cultural Insight might explain respectful behavior. A field observation can reflect on professional responsibility without reconstructing an incident the author did not witness.

Use restraint

Do not publish private conversations, unsupported allegations, identifiable client information or dangerous instructions. Do not attach the Insight to an incorrect destination because the real location is missing from GuideMeet’s taxonomy.

All new Insights enter moderation before publication. Exact authoring steps belong in Help.
