A professional Consultation has a clear scope, start/end point and useful outcome for the traveler.
Define what you offer
Choose questions you are qualified to answer: itinerary review, destination timing, preparation, cultural context or Service fit. State what the session cannot provide.
Before the session
- Review the traveler’s stated goal.
- Ask for only the necessary itinerary and constraints.
- Confirm time, timezone, duration and channel.
- Prepare relevant current information and note what may change.
- Identify whether the traveler needs a different professional, such as medical or legal advice.
During the session
Start by confirming the desired outcome. Separate facts, your recommendation and uncertainty. Do not use pressure to turn the conversation into a Service sale.
After the session
Summarize key next steps when appropriate. If the traveler requests a Service, define it through the approved workflow. Protect any personal information and do not reuse it for unrelated promotion.
